Boston Coffee Company was founded in 1863 by Jimmy LaTrace. It started with Jimmy's love for coffee and his entrepreneurial spirit. Jimmy would sit in the common with a large pot of coffee every morning and hand it out to local businessmen on their way to work. From there he rented a store front on Tremont Street, it is the same one we have today! Today we are the #1 coffee supplier for New England. We embrace the roots that Jimmy planted and his Great Grandson Peter runs the company now. A locally owned company, we are the coffee shop near you. We brew and serve delicious coffee every day from our 45 locations across New England. Our Coffee was voted Best Coffee in 2020 for the Good Food Awards. Working at BCC means you earn above the national average and receive world-class benefits.  Boston Coffee Company is proud of its fair-trade supplier relationships and works directly with local farmers in Colombia to supply our coffee beans.
